Bands at the PIT
Formed in Pawley's Island in 1999, Sawgrss incorporates varied musical influences. Out emerges a style that the band refers to as AcoustiLectric BlueGrass.
One of the PIT's favorite bands, Ten Toes Up provides blues, rock, and alternative rock on the playbill.
"We believe, you've got to play it hot, make it rock, play the blues with nothing to lose, funk it up, slow it down, and turn it back around."
Red Emotion Riot (formerly The Kid Drew Band) is one of the PIT favorites. Their hard rocking blues are reminisce of Stevie Ray Vaughn, Robert Johnson, and John Lee Hooker.
